Databases
Research literature databases can be used to find published results of clinical trials.
- Cochrane Center Register of Controlled TrialsThis database contains over 300,000 references to controlled trials in health care in addition to other evidence-based medicine information.
- PubMedPubMed provides several search options for finding information about the results of clinical trials. In PubMed, click on the limits tab and scroll down to the "Type of Article" box. From here, there are several options including Clinical Trial, Randomized Controlled Trial, and Clinical Trial, Phase I - IV.
- CINAHLSearch results in CINAHL can be limited to clinical trials by choosing "Clinical Trial" from the "Publication Type" selection box in the Limits section of the search interface.
