Background

The Center for Data and Bioinformation Services provides a rich learning environment with the resources and in-house experts to spark your creativity and streamline your data visualization. Our data visualization service assists you in producing publication and grant-ready data visualizations. We will work with you to wrangle and clean your data, and prepare visualizations using state-of-the-art industry standard software such as R, Python, and Adobe Creative Suite. In addition we will create a record for your dataset to be included in the UMB data catalog.

  • Create an infographic to accompany a grant application
  • Create a data dashboard using EHR data from Research Harbor
  • Visualize RNA-seq and metagenomic data from high throughput omics studies
  • Create sequence alignment of DNA, RNA or Protein, molecular network diagrams, and phylogenetic trees using big data from molecular databases

ICTR Voucher program

The ICTR Voucher Program is intended to help the researcher generate pilot data needed for extramural grant applications/peer-reviewed publications.  CDABS DataViz service is eligible for voucher support. Find out all the details about the program here: ICTR Voucher Program
